1918: Zojirushi Corporation manufactures hand-blown vacuum bottles.
1964: Zojirushi manufactures first automatic bottle making machine for mass production of liners for thermal containers.
1981: Zojirushi patents the Air Pot brand beverage dispenser.
1981: Zojirushi produces unbreakable vacuum bottle by a patented process that raises the insulation properties of stainless steel to that of glass.
1986: Zojirushi lists show on the second section of the Osaka Securities Exchange.
1987: Zojirushi opens U.S. headquarters in Bell, California.
1992: Zojirushi introduces Home Bakery, the world’s most advanced unit for making breads, doughs, cakes, desserts and fresh fruit jams.
1994: Zojirushi celebrates five succesful years in the U.S. market.
1995: Zojirushi introduces new vacuum technology that yields a product that is 33% more compact and 22% lighter than comparable size bottles.
1998: Zojirushi introduces the world’s most advanced rice cooker/stearmer with “Fuzzy Logic” technology. Zojirushi breadmakers set new industry record for the fastest 1 and 2-pound loaves — Under 2 hours. Zojirushi celebrates ten succesful years in the U.S. market.
