Another first which Zojirushi brought to the world is the Air Pot brand beverage dispenser. With a unique pumping mechanism that serves at the touch of a fingertip, the Air Pot has become the coffee dispenser of choice around the world.
Zojirushi’s extensive line of rice cookers/steamers includes the first model to incorporate computer sensors and neuro fuzzy technology. The result is rice that is cooked to perfection and then kept warm and fluffy until served.
As a pioneer in automatic bread makers, the highly rated Zojirushi machines have long been the benchmark to which all others are measured. With the industry’s fastest baking time under two hours. Zojirushi bread makers continue to set the standard for excellence.

Zojirushi America is the sales and distribution arm for Osaka, Japan-based Zojirushi Corporation, a leading manufacturer of Consumer Housewares, Commercial Food Service and OCS products.

| 1986: | Zojirushi lists show on the second section of the Osaka Securities Exchange. |
| 1987: | Zojirushi opens U.S. headquarters in Bell, California. |
| 1992: | Zojirushi introduces Home Bakery, the world’s most advanced unit for making breads, doughs, cakes, desserts and fresh fruit jams. |
| 1994: | Zojirushi celebrates five succesful years in the U.S. market. |
| 1995: | Zojirushi introduces new vacuum technology that yields a product that is 33% more compact and 22% lighter than comparable size bottles. |
| 1998: | Zojirushi introduces the world’s most advanced rice cooker/stearmer with “Fuzzy Logic” technology.
